Air Zimbabwe Expected resuming flights

The 50 days long pilots strike to get their salaries has finally ended and the airline has announced that it will resume flights now. The pilots reported back to work on Friday, however as there were no reservations, the airline was forced to cancel its flights till it got more bookings. Being the only direct airline flying to Zimbabwe, Air Zimbabwe will definitely pull passengers agian. But since the news was so sudden that nobody outside the airline was expecting it, it only got four reservations for the Friday flight from Harare.

The airline administration seeing the situation has decided to resume flights in three phases as follows:

1. Domestic (Harare to Victoria Falls, Bulawayo and back) (Immediate)
2. Regional (Johannesburg, Lusaka, Lubumbashi) 18 September
3. International (London, Dubai, Beijing): 23 September
